About Me.

I'm a technologist, strategist, and builder focused on turning bold ideas into scalable, human-centric platforms.

Who are you and what do you do?

I am Lama Osman, a dynamic, multi-lingual leader with 17+ years of experience building and scaling ventures across tech, media, and education. My focus is at the intersection of innovation, strategy, and collaboration, where I turn ideas into scalable, responsible solutions that drive sustainable impact.

What does your professional journey look like?

I've moved from full-stack development to strategic leadership, including founding startups and leading AI SaaS growth. My building journey spans co-founding 4 companies from Avalon Lebanon, Stark Agency, Young Coders, and Podheros. Whereas by building for others journey was leading Strategy & Partnerships at Podeo , serving as Group Commercial Director at Mawdoo3 Group to orchestrating Royal Weddings with MBC group.

What's one achievement that captures your impact?

At Mawdoo3 Group (AI SaaS), I led a team that closed over $4M in new revenue by optimizing the open pipeline by 50% in three months. At Podeo, I secured major partnerships with governmental media houses worth over $100K per year that raised brand market share value by 80%

What are you focusing on today?

As a Strategic Advisor for companies like Skipr and Touchbase , I'm focused on advising on fundraising strategy, go-to-market optimization, and supporting enterprise deployment for future-of-work and quantum-ready infrastructure

Where are you from, and how did that shape you?

I am a Lebanese/British leader currently based in Hoboken, NJ, USA. My upbringing across KSA, Bahrain, and Lebanon gave me a deep understanding of the diverse market dynamics and rapid technological shifts across the MENA region.

What did you study?

My education reflects my blend of expertise: a BA in International Affairs (LAU, Beirut, 2005-2009) and an MA in Media Communications (Webster Graduate School of London, 2010-2011) provided the strategic foundation. I later cemented my technical fluency with a Full-stack Web Developer course (Le Wagon, Beirut, 2016).

Did you have a life before tech?

Yes, I had a significant life in professional sports, which instilled grit and discipline. I went from playing with a boys' team in Saudi Arabia at the age  to playing for Riffa Blue Pearls womans team in Bahrain, and eventually was scouted for the Lebanese National Women’s Football Team from 2005 to 2009.

Tell us about your recent exit.

I recently conceived, launched, and successfully scaled PodHeros , the world's 1st Podcast Expert Marketplace , before achieving a successful merger with Podyx. This achievement involved onboarding 25 vetted global experts, achieving 100%+ MoM growth, and leading all strategic and operational efforts.

How do you help others build capability?

Beyond my roles, I've designed and delivered a 7-session entrepreneurship incubator at the Canadian University Dubai in partnership with AWS, Meta, and Zoho, equipping students with strategies across AI, GTM, and funding.

What's your role in the MENA startup ecosystem?

I hosted Season 1 of the #1 entrepreneurship podcast in MENA (as of August 2024), يونيكورن بالعربي (Unicorn in Arabic), where I interviewed startup founders and ecosystem players to uncover business models, key challenges, and growth paths.

Why does this matter to you?

Because ultimately, building is about enabling—it's empowering creators, founders, and teams to turn ideas into influence, scale sustainably, and build with intention.

Lets Connect
Let's connect, if you're a founder, creator, strategist, or someone who believes in taking ideas beyond the whiteboard, let's connect. I'm always looking to explore how we can build something meaningful, together.
"Thank you Lama (Masri) Osman, the team at in5 Dubai and Reema Al Abbas for hosting these sessions. Podcasting is a very hot topic right now and knowing how to get started the right way and having a support circle is very important.
